MEET THE WOMAN BEHIND THE DIARY.

I’m Christelle, a mother of three, writer, creator, and the woman behind Diary of a Divorced Mom. What began as a space to share my life after divorce has grown into a journey of healing, faith, motherhood, self-discovery, and learning what it means to choose myself again.

WHY I OPENED THE DIARY

I NEEDED A PLACE TO TELL THE TRUTH

What began as a place to share my life after divorce became somewhere I could be honest about the parts of healing that aren’t always pretty the loneliness, the lessons, the dating, the motherhood, the faith, and the moments I had to choose myself all over again.

MY STORY BECAME SOMETHING BIGGER

At first, writing was simply my release. Putting the thoughts in my head onto paper gave me a way to process them, make sense of what I was feeling, and finally let some of it go. But somewhere along the way, I realized my story could become more than a place for me to heal. It could remind another woman that there is testimony in what we survive, purpose in what we learn, and possibility in what comes next.

MOTHERHOOD

The beautiful, exhausting, ever-changing journey of raising three boys while continuing to rediscover the woman I am outside of motherhood.

WORDS FROM THE COMMUNITY

“This by far has been my favorite entry! I felt like I was in a church sermon. As I read, I found myself saying ‘yes’… that’s true…’talk about it’ and Amen. I needed this…I understood this and now I can apply this to myself as I navigate through this thing we call life. I love this…keep writing friend!”

-HisChillPill, Substack Reader

“Great Post! I like the part about how the divorce isn’t the center anymore. I’m convicted. I’ve held on to tons of hurt, myself. It’s time to let go.”
